Welcome to my blog, this is the first set of pictures i uploaded for this new year 2012 as i celebrates new year with my family,,,from the preparation we really have a good and great experience and bonding with my family... New year is one of the best moment in our life, happened every last evening of the year and welcoming the new year few more minutes approaching, This season is where we could have lots of time to give love to our love ones, new year of revealing something new to you to and forget the bad memories you had for the past year, this is the event where many pinoy are very busy preparing the foods for dinner, relatives can visit at home and invite someone to dine with you exchange smiles, thoughts and ideas, this is the year full of expectation, praying to God to have a good vibes more blessings, healthy life and specially spreading the charm.
the very traditional dinner buffet for new year 2012....

my cheese board 2012, i have a good combination this year, i have cold cuts, danablue cheese, eden cheese and cream cheese top with chili flakes to kick more spicy, grapes and orange plus the wine courtesy of my friend marj from australia, very great western food for the person who are a lover of cheese...

pinoy food is more lively and colorful,, asian pinoy tradition foods is one of the highlight of this dinner buffet, pancit sa bato, litson, and fourseason,, the true spirit of pinoy if where we find some of the best local or pinoy foods in the table..

top view of the dinner buffet for new year, litson is one of the philippine's best dish in every occasions, it more look festive than any other buffet if litson is in the table, this buffet is a combination of asian pinoy to western style inspired, because of the food display and the food color combination, it never fades to our tradition the soup egg to be taken early in the morning, for this year i prepared a Campbell mushroom soup seasoned with salt and pepper, added with light cream and water to give good consistency of the soup...

my cocktail finger food is included in my food buffet for 2012, my very traditional cocktail food, black and green olives, hormel ham, pineapple hotdog, and tuna spread in a flakes,,few of the most common finger foods to offer specially if i have a party at home where my guest and friends can have time and find it more entertaining specially waiting for the other foods to be ready in the table.

my 2012 dessert, that's a creamy blue berry dessert,,,trying to have a new version of my own dessert, double the cream added with confectioner sugar, layered with blue berry marmalade, the pics was taken right after the 49 shots fireworks,, there are lots of variations to make like this, can create more jam if you like to have a nice color combination.

my family who celebrate 2012 with sweet smiles, this is done after many preparation for the new year, we still try to put sweet smile for the love we have for my family, kuya Calvin at right, my mom Arlyn at his right, my nephew Mac tomi, my sister Arwelyn nest to mac and Me with a big smile...

my healthy diet for this year is garden salad... salad can make us more fit and more healthy coz of its rich in fiber where our body needs to detoxify some chemicals we get from other food,, there many variations of salad from hot to cold, this cold salad is combined cucumber, mango, grapes, eggs, apple with sweet and sour cane vinaigrette.

thank you....

My SISIG experience

Sisig is a kampampangan term which means "to snack on something sour". The original sisig is made from parts of the pigs head and liver usually seasoned with calamansi and chili peppers.
my tuna sisig experience @ butchers best CDO,.. after i have a great experience @ CDo with a friend mine i cant wait to go back home to create my own version of sisig tuna and other possible ingredients. Now my tuna sisig is one of  main dish that i deliciously created and innovated.
The ORIGIN
The dish is said to have originated from local residents who bought unused pig heads from the commissaries of Clark Air Base in Angeles City Pampanga,  An alternate explanation of its origin is that it is but an innovative variation on an older recipe, which is pork ears and jowl, boiled, chopped then marinated. "Lucia Cunanan" of Angeles City has been credited with inventing sisig, The Philippine Department of Tourism  has acknowledged that her "Aling Lucing's" restaurant had established Angeles City as the "Sisig Capital of the Philippines" in 1974  Cunanan's trademark sisig was developed in mid 1974 when she served a concoction of boiled and chopped pig ears and cheeks seasoned with vinegar, calamansi juice, chopped onions and chicken liver and served in hot plates.
Today, many varieties of sisig including the tuna as the main ingredient are on the list of sisig history. Pinoy is very innovative specially in foods, trying to create something new , Tuna is one of my favorite among those flavorful sisig, because of its nutritional contents found that needs to our body, and this is now available in some restaurants and "carenderia" (the term used in the phillipines it refers to small restaurant), added with calamansi and other spices in a hot cast iron plate with eggs on top to create sizzle sound when it serves.. That tuna sisig is yummy..
